The Regulars
It is true that professionals get paid, but it isn’t pay that makes one often go far beyond the call of duty and frequently walk the extra mile. It is something more, perhaps, a matter of honour, an inborn urge to maintain the highest standards, pride in the organisation that they belong to, and the sense that excellence means doing more than the very best.
In our ‘War Against Waste,’ our workforce shows the least hesitation in tackling exigencies arising from reasons such as, an increased tourist influx, a fair or a festival, a natural disaster, and so on and so forth.
“Blessed is he who plants trees under whose shade he will never sit.”
The Reservists
“Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.“
Sherry Anderson
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and belong to all age groups. We believe that nothing’s impossible; and there are ways that lead to everything. We consider that if that there’s sufficient will, there should always be sufficient means. Be it either a taxing cleanup, or an arduous heritage walk, or a nerve wracking policing, or an insightful eco-restoration; we of Clean Coonoor never fail to give it our best.
